Find answers to common questions about share recovery, dematerialization, and our services.

Physical shares are paper certificates issued by a company to its shareholders as proof of ownership in the company. These certificates contain details such as the shareholder’s name, number of shares owned, and the company’s name.
Dematerialization (or “demat”) is the process of converting physical share certificates into electronic form. Dematerialized shares are held in a demat account with a depository participant, making trading, transfer, and management easier and more secure.
A Demat account is an account that holds your shares in electronic form, similar to how a bank account holds money. It is mandatory for trading in the stock market.
A DP is an agent of a depository (like NSDL or CDSL) that offers services such as opening demat accounts, dematerializing shares, and facilitating transfer of securities.

  • Once processed, the shares will be credited to your Demat account.
  • Original physical share certificates
  • Demat account details (DP ID & Client ID)
  • Dematerialization Request Form (DRF)
  • Valid ID proof (PAN card is mandatory)
  • Address proof (if required by DP)
